Background

The Goddess who reincarnated him did so under contract: he would live a new life, but at some point he would be required to eliminate the world's hero before that hero's actions destabilize it. He was reborn into the Tuatha Dé family, a noble assassin clan in the kingdom of Alvan, retaining full memory of his previous life's expertise. His father and clan trained him in their assassination arts, which he approached with the context of someone who had already mastered a killing profession — developing well beyond what his teachers expected, integrating prior expertise with this new world's magic and physical capabilities.
