Muzan Kibutsuji

Muzan Kibutsuji is the supreme villain of Demon Slayer — the first and most powerful demon, the progenitor of them all and the source of every tragedy in the series. Spoilers follow.

Background

Transformed into the original demon over a thousand years ago, Muzan created the entire demon race and rules the Twelve Kizuki through fear. Obsessed with conquering his one weakness — the sun — he wages a shadow war against the Demon Slayer Corps.
