Thors is the father of Thorfinn in Vinland Saga — a legendary warrior who renounced violence to live in peace, and whose philosophy haunts the entire saga.

Background

Once feared as "the Troll of Jom," one of the greatest Jomsviking warriors, Thors faked his own death to escape a life of endless war. He settled in quiet Iceland to raise his family, hiding his past until it caught up with him.
