Yuzuriha Ogawa was stone for three thousand seven hundred years, and when she came back to a world humanity had to rebuild from nothing, she brought with her the specific kind of strength that isn't measured in combat power but in the continuity it provides.

Background

She and Taiju Oki were close before the petrification, and his dedication to finding and de-petrifying her specifically — using the revival formula Senku developed — reflects the significance of their bond. She is de-petrified into a world where human civilization no longer exists, where survival requires making things from scratch, and where the scientific methodology Senku advocates is the only systematic approach to reconstruction. Her contribution to the Kingdom of Science isn't combat or scientific breakthrough but the craft capabilities a rebuilding civilization actually needs: she is the series' textile specialist, meaning everything from rope to clothing to complex material applications flows through her knowledge and skills.
