Sarada Uchiha wants to become Hokage — the first Uchiha to ever aim for that position — and approaches that goal with the same combination of her mother's analytical precision and her father's intensity that makes people around her simultaneously confident she could do it and slightly concerned about the path she'll take.

Background

She is the daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno, born into the generation after the Fourth Shinobi War in a Konoha that her parents helped protect but that she has grown up taking for granted in the specific way of someone who didn't experience what was required to get here. Her father is absent most of her childhood for mission-related reasons, which creates a specific wound that her arc addresses — she has to figure out who she is in relation to an Uchiha legacy she knows through story rather than presence, and a father whose absence communicates something different from what it means. She awakens her Sharingan under emotional stress, as Uchiha typically do, and develops it through the intensity of experience rather than the systematic training her father had. Her aspiration to become Hokage is genuine and considered — she has thought about it, and the reason she has arrived at is about protection: she wants to stand in front of the people she cares about as someone who can actually keep them safe.
