Sanji is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates — a chivalrous, chain-smoking fighter who battles with devastating kicks to keep his hands safe for cooking.

Background

Born into a cruel family of warriors, Sanji was saved as a boy by the pirate-chef Zeff, who shared his food and taught him that no one should ever go hungry. That lesson — never refuse a starving person a meal — became the core of who he is.
