Takashi Mitsuya

Takashi Mitsuya is Toman's most levelheaded captain — a boy who raises his two younger sisters almost alone, designs and sews their clothes with the same calm hands he uses to fight, and anchors the gang's original generation through the series' timeline chaos.

Background

Mitsuya grew up taking responsibility early — his mother was absent, leaving him effectively as the household head for his sisters Luna and Mana. He channelled the same focus he brought to family care into his role as the captain of Toman's 2nd Division, becoming one of the founding generation alongside Mikey and Draken. His hobby — designing and making clothes, particularly his sisters' outfits — is treated by the series as entirely consistent with his character rather than incongruous with it, because Mitsuya's competence is not divided between domains. He is simply someone who is good at things he applies himself to, and he applies himself to caring for people.
